A skills video presents the player's current actions in a form a coach or evaluator can review. Before work begins, the written scope explains what footage is needed, what will be produced, and how the review and delivery will work.
What gets shown
- • Hitting clips that show the swing, timing, and ball flight
• Defensive clips that show footwork, glove work, throwing, and movement
• Running, throwing, measurable actions, or position-specific clips when useful
• Clear player information that supports the footage
What gets removed
- • Long gaps between actions
• Unclear camera angles
• Distracting effects or music used without permission
• Clips that do not help a coach understand the player
• Exaggerated claims or misleading edits
How the process works
01 | Define the purpose
We confirm the player, positions, intended audience, and available footage. We also confirm whether you need editing only or a discussion about filming.
02 | Prepare the footage
You receive a position-specific shot list. Submit current, stable footage at normal speed, with the full action, ball, and result visible whenever possible.
03 | Build the video
The clips are organized in a clear order with a simple title card and restrained transitions. Player information and measurements are presented accurately, without inflated claims or misleading edits.
04 | Review and deliver
The finished file is checked against the written scope and delivered in the agreed format. Replacement footage or additional work is discussed and approved before it is added.

• Revision allowance
• Filming location, travel, or additional work, when applicable
• Footage-use and ownership terms
Footage standards
- • Use current footage and identify the recording date.
• Record stable, continuous clips at normal speed.
• Keep the player's full body, ball, and result visible when possible.
• Submit consecutive repetitions, not only highlights.
• Use slow motion only to supplement normal-speed footage.
• Include copyrighted music only when you have the required rights.

Before payment, the written scope confirms the included work, footage requirements, turnaround, revisions, and delivery format. It also confirms whether filming, travel, replacement footage, or additional work applies. Additional work requires your approval.
What a skills video shows
A skills video presents the actions visible in the footage. Editing can make those actions easier to review. It does not establish a player's measurements or tool grades, and any reported measurements remain reported information.
