The purpose is to help a coach or evaluator understand the player’s current skills and actions. The work begins with a written scope so the player and support team know what footage is needed, what will be produced, and what happens next.
What gets shown
- Hitting actions that show swing, timing, and ball flight
- Defensive actions that show footwork, glove, arm, and movement
- Running, throwing, measurable actions, or position-specific clips when useful
- Clear athlete information without turning the video into a commercial
What gets removed
- Long dead space
- Unclear angles
- Distracting effects or unlicensed music
- Clips that do not help a coach understand the player
- Anything exaggerated, misleading, or unsupported
How the process works
01 — Define the purpose
We confirm the player, positions, intended audience, available footage, and whether the request is editing-only or requires a filming discussion.
02 — Prepare the footage
The player and support team receive a position-specific shot list. Footage should be current, stable, recorded at normal speed, and show the full action, ball, and result whenever possible.
03 — Build the video
Clear clips are placed in a logical order with a simple title card, restrained transitions, and no inflated metrics or misleading edits.
04 — Review and deliver
The finished file is checked against the written scope and delivered in the agreed format. Replacement footage or work outside the approved scope is discussed before it is added.

- Required actions, angles, and athlete information
- Intended finished length and delivery format
- Turnaround and review expectations
- Revision allowance
- Filming location, travel, or added work only when applicable
- Footage-use and ownership terms
Footage standards
- Use current footage and identify the recording date
- Record stable, continuous clips at normal speed
- Keep the athlete’s full body, ball, and result visible when possible
- Submit consecutive repetitions instead of highlight-only clips
- Use slow motion only as supplemental footage
- Do not include copyrighted music unless the proper rights exist

The current listed service remains $250. Before payment, the written scope confirms the included work, footage requirements, turnaround, revisions, delivery format, and whether filming, travel, replacement footage, or additional work applies. No additional work is added without approval.
What this service does not promise
A skills video presents the athlete’s visible work. Editing improves presentation; it does not verify measurements, create a tool grade, or convert reported information into a verified finding.
